On my jeep with an electric fan we ran a switch to turn the fan off so it wouldn't run while submerged. This kept the blades from catching water / mud and sucking into the radiator. Do you guys do this for the quads?

All you have to do is break the ground with a switch. No power to run, just extend the ground wire to wherever you mount the switch.

Exactly. We do this even on rad relocation jobs. It's a must have.

Same goes for the push button reverse over ride. You can switch that as well so you don't have to hold the button.

It is a good idea. Maybe use a switch that has a light in it so you can tell at a glance if the fan has power or not.
