Ranger 500

I put them together for a dealership....the 500 is an entry level SxS. It will have power for what you want. but you will want to watch out for the round roll bar version because those don't have the accessory support of the bigger models. So quality windshield, roof and so on will be hard to come by. The cargo capacity in the bed and towing should be enough for hunting though.

We just bought one ( Ranger 500 ) for general yard work and running to the mailbox...this thing is powerful, had the chance to go on a off road trip into a steep mountain on a super rough logging road...lol...scared the dickens out of me...that thing pulled like a tracor and never let me down on any steep hill!
I think you just fine for hunting!!⁸

I have a 2006 500efi and it performs and pulls great. Not a speed demon if that's what trips your trigger but cruses well at 35-40 mph.
