Howdy!! I am new here and I found this site looking for and answer about wheels and tires I have.

Okay, I bought aftermarket wheels and tires for my 2014 Polaris Ranger 900 XP Deluxe. With a the 2.5" lift kit, the 28" tires on 14" wheels fit great.

Today I tried to install the OEM Ranger wheels/tires on my 2008 Polaris Sportsman and learned that the lug studs were smaller in length and diameter than on the Ranger. The spacing appears spot on, but the offset will require spacers. I think.

Is there an adapter/spacer that will allow them to be installed?

Thanks for any help.

You'll need to buy extended wheel studs. I'm not sure when they stopped doing it, but older models that came with steel wheels, had shorter studs. So the studs won't work for alloys. As for the diameter, I'm not sure. 16 studs cost me $25 at a dealership.

I agree you have to replace those studs with a longer one, or install a wheel spacer.
^ polaris has longer studs for alloy rims.
