Manual says to pull axle out "as far as it will go". Photo attached. Ok-- I'm having to drive the axle out with a piece of wood. I decided to stop once the axle started to move. So I suspect this is just because the rear is OLD and dried grease. Photo 2 also attached. I disconnected the bolts holding the rear black tube to the diff. and think this is unnecessary. Anyone here been there and done this? I'm thinking I need to reconnect the tube to rear end housing and frame. Then proceed with bearing removal. Slide axle back through when new bearings arrive. Thoughts???
