The slip yoke on the front prop shaft, even after changing the yoke and u joints still seems to be hitting my engine, digging into the engine housing a little bit! Idno how thick the case is but it freaks me out!! How ever it was like that for a while already and hasnt seem to have gotten worse. But its a sketchy situation. As if its wears through the housing than im up sh*ts creek. I cant make it hit the engine by hand, i guess it hits it when its under load. Anyone else ever had this issue or know someone who has?? Id sell it but id feel to bad if the next guy had major trouble.

Regardless if the case is thick or not you have a problem!!! Something is bent, loose, and/or broken.

What slip yoke did use?

Its a very close fit right there. The old one may have been rubbing because it was loose and wobbly. If the new one is also doing it you probably need to loosen the front mount and torque it over to the left as far as possible while tightening the mount back down. That front mount has a slotted hole.
