It is a large event with guided rides on the Paiute Trail System in central Utah. Very large trail system. It can be done via the jamboree or on your own at other times. Not so much in winter. Not really a mud or sand kind of event. It could be muddy though based on recent weather or snow melt but not a "mud" event. Lots of high altitude trail riding up to 11000 feet or so. Pine, Aspen, water crossings etc etc. Real nice area. Richfield, Marysvale, Fillmore etc etc

I always plan my trips there to avoid the jamboree. All of the popular trails get pretty crowded. I do love it there, and have two more trips scheduled this year, but no jamboree for me.
