Anybody own one of these? I seen the kolpin one and it didn't look as sturdy as the roto. Mounted mine on top my polaris box and the lid still opens safe.

Looks great. I want to get another 2 gallon water one for when I'm fishing. And put them both on the top box

Keweena, I have the same Rotopax container and rear cargo box. I am waiting to fab up a mount that will hold the rotopax straight up in the rear behind the box. Mine will have a shovel and axe mount to comply with fire season requirements. Just need a little time

My only suggestion would be; flip it around so spout points to the rear. Never had one leak but if it did, you probably don't want to be doused in gas.

I usually do have it pointing to the rear. For some reason I put it that way for the pic. Wasn't thinkin at the time ha. Still fit good with two passengers if you wanted.

How well does your cargo box fit on your 570 and how does it attach have been wanting one for mine but didnt know if they mounted to the 570s good or not?

I've been wanting to get a couple Rotos. But i'd mount them up front to help distribute the weight off the rear from whatever you put in the rear cargo box. It will balance better going up hills.

I would not put it vertically in the back. The brackets will bend and you will be sorry. It may look tight at first but it won't last thru a ride or two.

Just mounted mine to the rear, vertically, using two hinges with removeable pins. will post pics as soon as I get some time. Wanted to be able to remove it for short rides and put it on when needed. I pull two pins and the entire mount comes off.

They mount the box with two flip things that expand to fill holes they fit in. Mine hasn't came off when being hauled on trailer or in the back of pickup seems to fight good and comes off easy but not sure about long term yet. I do most of my riding the winter.

No issues with leaking at all.

As for the kit, some of the newer XP models had issues with being able to close the front box once the cans were in there. I'm sorry but I can't remember which models. Apparently if you made even more mods to the front box and really tightened those straps you could finally get it shut. Wish I could remember the thread about that but I cannot.

Rather be riding, instead I'm using Tapatalk
