:)Hoping someone can help me.
Recently picked up a 2003 Preddy. Love it!
Installed a new timing chain, tensioner and guides. Previous owner suggested it due to slap.
Purged cooling system of air pockets, and primed oil pump as described in service manual. Runs and sounds great.
After running her for about 20 mnts., i turned her off to find the cooling fan running and noticed how HOT she was. My question is; is this normal for her to be so hot? Aluminum block, understand. Is their anything i can do to keep her cooler? Should i even worry about it? Concerned, please help.
