What's Up? I have a 2009 400 Sportsman and it only has 7 hours on it. Used it when we got it, then moved and it's been in garage ever since. Just put a new battery in it and it starts and runs but has a hard time going, I think that carb must be gunked up. Can I just spray carb cleaner for this problem on such a new engine? I'm not very mechanically inclined with this sort of thing. I'm now trying to sell it which shouldn't be hard with 150 miles on it but I want it to run like new like it looks. Any suggestions?

Start by draining all of the old gas out, fill tank with new fresh gas. Add about 8-10 ounces of Seafoam and run that tank through the ATV. If that doesn't work I'm afraid you will have to pull the carb and disassembly and clean. Old gas "varnish" can be a bearcat to get rid of.
