First off, I'd like to say hello to everyone! I'm new here and recently bought a 2005 Sportsman 700. I've been lurking for a little while now on here and have read through many great threads!!! With that said, I'm getting ready to install an invisible fence for my dogs and have close to 1500 feet of it to bury. Is there any type of attachment for the rear hitch that I can drag and make a trench, say a few inches down so I can bury the wire? I could have sworn I saw something for a garden/lawn tractor years ago but I can't find anything now (go figure...). I know I can rent machines to do the job, but I'd rather buy an attachment or make something to do the job. Any ideas would be great too!
I was thinking if I had to make something then possibly taking an axe head for the cutter and make it so it's on a lever that can swing it up and forward and lock in place in the up position when you go in reverse, then undo the pin and let it catch the ground so when you go forward it will dig into the ground a few inches. Make any sense?
