I have a 91 TB 350L 4x4. It's one of my up north machines that I bang around on and use for utility on my property. Last time I was up the electric start stopped working. It only made a clicking sound at the solenoid. Went up today and the starter works fine when jumping the solenoid connections so definitely a bad solenoid, however when hitting the start button it no longer makes the click sound. Do you solenoids ever just go silent like that when they are bad or might I be looking at a bad starter button at the handlebars as well? The battery is fully charged.
