Put in a clutch kit to reduce the overly aggressive EBS in my 2016 570 and it now seems to hold about 6500 rpm during acceleration. Unfortunately I never checked it with stock parts. Its about 500 rpm more than my older sportsman 500 Fuji engine. What is typical for a stock 570?

You're looking for rev-limiter RPM. 6500 sounds about right. The 570 is over head cam where as the 500 was pushrod to my knowledge. Over head cam motors are capable of higher rev'ing so that's probably the case.

Ok I see what you're looking for. But are you saying that when you go full throttle the RPMs reach 6500 before you reach your top speed??

That's odd, something's got to be off. What kit did you get??
