Seems like I'm posting a new question every day but here goes...Ok, '05 sportsman 800. My issue is, where the lower rear a-arm bolts to the frame, there is a couple of milimeters of lateral play. There does not appear to be any play in the bushing, it appears that the bolt hole in the mount itself is out of round . The bolt is tight though. Is this a common problem. I know when I pill the bolt out, how I will remedy the out of round hole, but how do I stop it from happening again?

Thanks

Weld or have someone weld a thick washer on over the original hole and weld a gusset to the top and bottom of the washer and on to the chassis to better split the load.

Blueline, I've not had a spare second to pull the bolt, but when I pull out on the arm, the bolt moves a couple mm. So I an assuming the hole is out of round . I'll take a look tomorrow after work & let you know.

JMDpolarisman, that's exactly what I had in mind, Thanks.
