I have a 07 sportsman 800 efi the rear sags bad and after watching my buddy ride his 05 with it sitting up in the air and mine down low I see I need to fix it lol .. been looking at the spring upgrades and I saw a few shock swaps for the rear , anyone have any pro’s and cons to springs over the shock swaps? Basically looking for recommendations... I’m a big guy so I’m looking for something to handle me better . It rides smooth just squats bad ..ty

Get some new EPI HD springs

Springs hold the weight of the machine. But the shocks control the springs. If you want it hold more weight, go to heavier springs. Shocks by themselves won't do what you are asking.

EPI and Highlifter make quality HD spring for your machine. Highlifter springs have a higher spring rate, hold more weight but that also creates a harsher ride.
