Hey, I bought a 2020 850 a few months back for farm work a driveway plowing. I've never done a lot of the maintenance I know I'll need to learn how to do and would appreciate a manual to get ahead of the game and not be a frowny statistic. @latebird , you out there?

 

Best I can do is the 2018 model - the 2019 manuals in PDF are just starting to become available. PM me an email address and I will send it to you - it will cover 90% of everything you might want to know.

Any chance I could get that manual for the Sportsman 90. Does it show how to test a CDI box to see if its bad?

 

Sure, I will gladly send you a copy of the manual, but alas, there is no test foe the CDI box except replacement with a knows good unit and the Chinese do not wire conventionally - the main switch makes and breaks both the power side and the ground side of the wiring system - lose either and the ignition will not work while other things like lights might. All depends on how the engineer decided to wire it and the wiring differs from model to model.
