I'm taking a '95 Polaris Xplorer down to the frame for sand blasting and powder coat. I have everything off except for the front axle chain tensioner for which I'm going to get a larger hammer tonight... grrr... :grumble: and the steering post bushing plate (item 12 in the attachment) which appears to be riveted into place.

I've drilled out many-a-rivet as I've taken this thing down to the frame. Should I drill that thing out as well? Or would it be advisable to sand blast and powder coat with it attached?

Excellent, will do. I do have pics and will document the progress! It's certainly not a 'sexy' machine to restore, but I enjoy cleaning things up and making 'em nice.
