My steering suddenly started to pull to the left. After checking most options I discovered the the boot next to the brake was torn. How do I go about and replace it? I did regrease the joint which helped the problem but I want to fix it right. I am not very mechanically inclined.

Always post year and model of the machine you are working on.
For a first timer, you're going to need a few tools. You should also try to download a repair manual , there are a few ffree sites out there.
Normallu boot kits come with boot, clamps and prepack of grease.

You may want to take it to a shop. A torn left boot, and it pulling to the left, leads me to believe your left axle may be broken.

Just might be tie rod adjustment if pulling to one side. Recheck tire inflation after boot repair follow manual spec. for tie rod adjustment. Hope this helps.
