Hi folks
I am new here and got a question about backspace on the sti wheels
I got a 400ho but I am right now on the other side of the globe so I can not measure what back space there is original on the steel wheels
I am planning to put a set of hd1 wheels with outback tires on
But is a bit concerned they will be wider and start to throw more mud on me
Any one with 4+3 offset here that can shim in?

I have the same offest on my 800. I ran 27x9x12 in the front and 27x12x12 in the rear.
The front is about 2 inches wider than stock. 1" on each side. The rear didn't change at all.
The tires are the bigger variable when it come to throwing mud. The more aggressive they are the more mud they will sling.
Here's a shot from the front of my 800

Also you're riding style will affect how dirty you get
I ride hard so staying clean doesn't happen often! Lol

Hope this helps!

Ok thanks

I guess a inch I can live with
When out for a fun drive I don't mind getting dirty. But when I just go for check the water levels on my fields I can be without the mud:)
