I own a hardware store and one day i got bunch of these storage totes in and thought, that would be neat to put on the back of my sportsman. here's what i ended up with...just want to share.

here is how it's built. just a few pieces of angle iron then a piece of plywood for support. it slides right onto the rear bumper. works great! comes on and off easy, doesn't take up space on the rear deck and i can still get to my hitch!

I have to ask, aren't you concerned the machine will flip backwards on hills?

I guess i am a puss when it comes to flipping backwards.

but

It looks like it would be great for heavy coats and the like when the temps climb during the day.

Nice mount system.

^Not with that plow he's got on the front of it!

Looks great! I like how you can still utilize your rear rack, nice work! :fing02:

no not at all. not near enought weight there to worry about. just a rubbermaid style tote. just keep small yard tools, pruners, tow chain, etc. use it like crazy
