So I recently did an oil change on my 2012 polaris 800 efi and after first start up I got a rattling noise for about 4 seconds. sounded like a bolt full of loose washers rattleing this would be the first time I changed my oil myself. any help would be appreciated???

I used 2 quarts of ams oil 0w-40 and a highflo filtro.

Pretty sure that's normal. Depending on how long you let it drain the 4 seconds is how long it took for the oil to get back up to the cam area and the air to be replaced with the oil in the system.

Unless it keeps doing it on every start I wouldn't worry about it.
