Thor,
I'm a new owner of a 2013 sportsman 500 with frame plow mount and was wondering if it will be even more of a hassle threading the crankcase oil plug with already limited clearance with your skid plate installed?
Also,is removing the polaris plow mount to install your skid plate then remove the skidplate and remount the plow mount backon the frame when I want to plow again required??
And my last inquiry, I noticed the side/ bottom of the Transmission is really exposed on my machine...... will this area be protected with the Ricochet skidplate??
This is all new to me so i want to do it right the first time.

Thankyou for your input
Regards, Russ

Russ,

We do not sell the Polaris plows so I do not have a answer for you. On the 13 where is the crank oil plug located? Post a pic please.

Thor,
The plug is behind the driveshaft in the photo and above the largest access hole in the frame.
Thanks Russ
