Have 08 Trailboss 330. Bought new 11/08. Master link is hitting on guard
and dealer says "its normal". Polaris says "see dealer". Rear brake squeals.
Dealer says "normal". Can these be fixed or indeed are they normal?
im shure if you use a better brand of brakes you can stop the squeel, you may want to check the rotors for scratches or pad dammage. you can remove the rotors and sand them down and remove the scratches and then buff them out. i use a sander and with super fine grit and then pollish them out on a cloth wheel with jewelers rouge. the smoother they are the better. as far as the link goes its never a good thing to have a chain hiting anything. you may want to see if you can shim the guard out with washers. plastic or aluminum guards can slowly wear down the link and then you are on the trail with a broke ass chain and thats the day nobody is riding where you are,LOL. good luck hope this helps.
