Hey. I just picked up a 03 sportsman 500ho and need pointed in the right direction as how to run the throttle cable. When I turn all the way to the left it revs up and when to the right it revs down. So if some one can post pics or a link on where to run it would be great.

There is an adjustment , 4 inches down the cable from thumb throttle, under rubber boot in cable, adjust so there is 1/8 inch of slack at thumb throttle, someone has it too tight. They probably set the idle with the cable, the idle adjustment is on the bottom of carb, left side.
