Good afternoon folks,

I am picking up a second hand 2011 550 touring EPS tomorrow. It's going to need new tires.

Most of my riding is on packed trails and Eastern Canada forest trails, rocks, mud. I only ride in Snow a couple of times a year, so snow is not a priority...

Can you folks make any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

I have the same bike and I put Sedona Ripsaws on it. Loving it!

I just had my maiden voyage today with my upgraded size tires STI BLACK DIAMOND XTR'S radial tires and ITP SERIES 212 matte black wheels. Hit a wide variety of terrain from hard pack, rock, and deep mup holes along with a trip a mile a stream. Cant think of anything else to challenge these tires. Love this set I got. Upgraded size from 25's to 26 and from 8's in front to 9's staied with 10's in the rear threw a bit more mud and water but not alot. Didnt find a bad review on the tires spend better than a week looking and reading reviews.
