I have an 06 800 and my top speed right now is 60mph depending on the day but I am also running a clutch kit and 28" tires so I no that that is going to slow me down some.
i have about 3000 miles, but if what messin around says is correct it sounds like 55 mph should be about right, possible the 500 and 700 are geared differently, if i would have know this i would have just bought a 500 , oh well live and learn.do have the stock size tire , if yours are a bigger tire you will lose a little on top end. Also the amount of hours you have could be a factor, if you have high miles and hours say 3000 or 4000 miles your engine is gettin a little tired
It didn't seem to, but that could be because my tires are older and possibly they were spinning too much, i will let you guys know, thanks for the replies. The extra torque from the 700 will get you up to speed quicker than the 500, especially up-hill.
