tryin to help a friend out he got a free trail boss that he did some work to and got it going. IT starts and idles fine, it will run well at WOT (wide open throttle). If you go to feather the throttle slowly accel it has like a flat spot till WOT. He decribes it as a flat spot, not a sputter. He is very mechanically inclined took the carb apart like 5 times now. Same thing every time.
I was thinking flywheel gap. What else???

What about throttle cable adjustment? or does that machine have a electronic throttle position sensor?
