When i start my 325 polaris trailboss it revs very hard. Turn out the screw and turn it in noting happens. I seat the screw and back it out 2 turns and still revs very hard. If i adjust the throttle slack on the handle it will go away but wont stay runnin. Do i need to rbuild the carb or what?

I am thinking throttle cable sticking. To check, w bike off, work the throttle a few times and check the linkage on the carb/tb, see if u can re-seat the linkage.

I am not an expert, easy and free to check.

Thanks ill try on the carb. I messed with it up on the handles and didnt do anything. If i give the throttle a lot of freeplay it will rev down but it has to much play and wants to die.
