I have a 2000 Polaris Trailboss 325 and I think theirs something wrong with the fan because the HOT light turns off and on a lot just from riding around in this 45 degree weather. If Im correct the HOT light turns on when the oil reaches 290 degrees F. The fan is suppose to turn on when the oil is at 260 degrees and turn off at 240 degrees F. Ive read about a modification you can do to lower the temp of the oil so the fan comes on around 245 degrees and turns off around 225 degrees I know this mod invovles a resistor but I have no idea what to get or how to do it.
