Has anyone been here ATV riding in Colorado? Can you primitive camp in a National Forest?

Several years ago we hunted the UNF, and while we didn't camp (we stayed in nearby Montrose) we did see several deer/elk camps in different areas.

LOL, no real secret MIke. I just answered his earlier PM to me.
I have been over in that area in the San Juan NF up to the edge of the UNF. There is primitive camping in designated FS campgrounds that are scattered around, but I don't think there's dispersed camping where you just pull up about anywhere and camp like Taylor. USFS has info on their website and there are MVUMs (Motor Vehicle Use Maps) available online and from the FS. Here's a link:
