Upgrade 96-98 Sportsman rear driveshaft

Need Help... :gruebel: finding replacement rear drive shafts that eliminate the u-joint and provide you with the CV joints. I was led to belive that this could be done... upgrade the 96-98 style to the 99-02 style?? Any guidance on how to do this would certainly be appreciated.
