can some1 tell me where the vin/serial # is located on an 06 sportsman 500 efi?

stamped into the lower frame rail in the left front wheel well behind the tire, on the square tubing that angles out from the a-arm mount to the width of the tire. it is small dots that make up the vin. also on that year it might be on a sticker on the side of the radiator cover in the right front wheel well. and also can look in the rear of the machine, some had a sticker with the vin# on the upper sway bar dead center of machine. vin should be 17 digits

do u know how to decipher these dots. i've been lookin for actual numbers...thought maybe i'd bought a stolen atv and was getn worried.
