I am a grading contractor and have a customer wanting to do some trading with me on a 04 polaris ranger good shape. Is there anything to be concerned about with this year and model , i would aprieciate some educated advice Keith
Rock solid machine. How many hours are on it? I would inspect the front ball joints and tie rods which you can feel in the steering wheel when driving the machine if there bad. Inspect tires, brakes, rotors. shocks and struts for any leaks. Make sure the machine shifts in to all gears smoothly and functions properly. If it has a lot of hours I would consider looking at the clutches and belt. If the machine has had regular service you should have no problems. The list of things mentioned are things that you will most likely need looking at or they will be in need of replacement if the machine has not been maintained properly. Good Luck!
