Have a deal for a set of new take-off Pro Armor X-Terrains. The down side is that they are off of a Ranger.

Aside from mounting the tires onto my current rims, what would I need to mount them onto my 2109 Sportsman 850 HL?

Could I change the leg studs? Would prefer not to use spacers.

I should add that they are aluminum rims. Will try and get a photo later.

Check the stud diameter hole on the wheels you like to purchase, I believe they are larger diameter than the studs on your ATV.

Yeah, the lug holes are larger, albeit the same pattern. I mainly bought them for the tires, but was kinda hoping the rims would work as well. Guess I have an appointment to make with the tire shop to mount the new set, after I finish the servicing.

Why not just change them yourself?

Don’t have the tools on hand for it, and haven’t quite found a justification to push myself to buy them.

Just looked that up, the whole kit with tools and all for $190 isn’t too bad. Just have to find something to use it on more than once every 5 years.
