so before i take my 2011 850 XP out for its first ride for the season i wanna know what Fluid i should change and what types or fluid i should use. ATV has over 900 miles on it and all i changed was the engine oil and Down hill fluid THANKS

If you have never changed the front diff or transmission fluids, you should really do that.
Just bite the bullet and buy the Polaris stuff, its not THAT expensive.

If its been a while since the last oil change (75~100 hours) I would change that as well.

This page will tell you what oils you need for those changes.

Polaris recommends that you change the coolant every 2 years as well, but you should be fine. Just make sure its topped up and has the right mix of antifreeze.

Other than that, make sure you grease up all the spots that need greasing.
Jack up the bike and check for play in the A-Arms and hubs/etc.
If you still have a maintenance battery, check that out.
Check all of your lights, steering, tire PSI, break fluid, all the normal pre-ride stuff.
