i have a 98 xpress 300 2 stroke that i just had bored over .040. what size jets should i be running? seem to run good on the initial start up. i premixed the fuel 30:1, seemed to be smoking like "normal" from the pipe. i just do not want to burn it up running too lean with the wrong size jets.

Most times they come a little rich from the factory and just because you bored it doesn't mean you need to rejet. I never rejetted from just getting a bore job. Do a plug check once it is broken in and that will tell you what you need to know.

i agree with Ronnie i did my 300 xpress this spring and stayed with the 150, the needle is one notch lower and im still a little rich based on the plug, i ran 40 to one at first and now 50 to 1, i think i will drop one jet size next year, as the weather gets colder it seems to gain a little snap
