Hey Guys..........
I'm going to be needing to put wheel spacers on my 04 600 Sportsman so I can add chains this winter for ice fishing. I had chains on the back only last winter and didn't need spacers, but I can see the front definitely needs them to get safe clearance (1" min, maybe more?). Even though the back really doesn't need them, should I still be spacing front and rear outward equally to maintain the stock geometry? Aren't most ATVs setup where the front wheels are always narrower than the rears?

The front wheels are normally narrower than the rears, but the offsets are normally different so they sit at the same width. So yes, wheel spacers front and rear if you want to keep everything the same.
