Ya stupid question, its a 2000 Polaris explorer and i want to change the crank case oil. I don't no when the last time it was done or how much is in it so I feel I should get on that quick. I don't have a book on it or a credit card to order 1 so any help on where the drain plug is where to add the new oil and how to check would be awesome. Oh and 10w30 or 40? I don't even no what it takes

Hey 250xp,

The drain plug for the engine oil (AKA counter-balance oil) is located on the front crank case. Then you just fill it through the rear dipstick.

Hopefully this helps
