i got a 2015 sportsman 570 and I'm installing a 2500 hd polaris winch,it's a new winch but might be old I got it off a friend that never used it it doesn't have the 570 instructions on it, I seen my bike looks like it's pre wired for the winch and the contact box had a plug in on it that plugs in but I'm not sure where to mount this little box, seems like it would need to be kinda close to the factor plug in? and also the in/out control for the winch is a different connection too not sure what to do there any help would be awesome I don't know a lot about this stuff thanks

2015 was the first year of the integrated mount/wiring for the Polaris machines. If you've got a winch for anything older than 2015 you don't have the right one. It's my understanding that the new winches are almost as simple as plug and play and take about 10 minutes to install.
