Windshield for Sportsman 570

Hi - looking for advice for a windshield for a 2016 Sportsman 570. I live in North Dakota and would appreciate a wind break in the winter for ice fishing. Just hoping someone can save me the trouble of figuring out what works best. Referring me to an existing thread would be great too. I've done some searching and came up empty. Thanks

Polaris 2882512 Ultimate Series Windshield Fairing 2017-2020 Sportsman 1000 850 | eBay

Polaris Ultimate Series Windshield, Tall View | eBay

Windshield sold sepertley in 3 different heights, Tall for winter. Windshield attaches to faring with 6 push pins. Faring attaches with 4 bolts. I leave my faring on year round as it provides hand protection on the trails.

Looks like this when installed.

Apparently they don't have a fairing that fits the 570s? Is the upper light pod sized differently between the XPs and the 570s??
Polaris Ultimate Series Windshield does not fit the older 570 s you have to go with the std lock n ride...they work just fine. Sign up for BACK in stock email notifications, but as I recall they go fast so get on it when you see them available .

That's too bad. I like the look of the Ultimate Series Windshield fairing. Would love to have one on my '21 570 Touring.

Great info everyone. But...I must suck at the search task. I'm looking for the std lock n ride and I'm on atv.polaris.com and do a search by VIN and by year/model and it says there are no products (windshields) for this category. Might need some hand holding I guess if you would....
Pick the windshield u want on the polaris accessories web site, click on it, click on fittment. It's that easy

Every windshield I select says it's not designed for a 2016 570. Pretty much for 2021 and 2022. Just for test I selected other items and they do show to fit my unit. So it goes. Appreciate the help though.
That's odd, call the dealer or your going to have to go aftermarket...or buy a new machine 🤣 sorry couldn't help myself

Not in stock though

Well you certainly did a lot better than I did..thanks. It lists that it fits a 2016 Sportsman SP but not EPS. Does that mean it will fit my 570 EPS? Detail...details...
SP has EPS, but none of that matters. The body styles, frame and handlebars are the same.

That's the one I have, but is doesn't say it will fit your machine. I agree with the above post but I would still call polaris and find out why.

Yeah sounds like a call to Polaris would be the way to go.. Thanks all.

You don't need to call Polaris. It will fit, but you do you and what you think is right.

So I got the lock and ride windshield. My first thoughts are this. Even after taking all tie wraps off and headlight cover off, the wiring that I have to deal with seems very tight. The assembly is bulky to get between the handle bar and wires. I have to to tow the 570 everywhere that I'll be going ice fishing which is the only thing I use it for. The dealer said absolutely don't tow with windshield on. I'm thinking removing/installing this all the time in 0 to 10 degree weather with some wind won't be that great. I'm afraid I'm going to run into wiring issues of some kind eventually putting this on and taking if off regularly. Installing once and leaving it on would be ideal but I don't see that happening. I really wanted this to work but I'm afraid of dealing with problems when I want to be enjoying myself and fishing. At 65 years old I need things simple and don't think my situation is lending itself to simple. Everything is harder when it's cold outside. Thanks to everyone for all their comments on getting me the to this point.

I have 2017 touring with the same windshield I have only owned it since March but have towed it many times and many miles estimated 3500 miles and a lot of it at 75 mph plus. I have not had any problems with leaving the windshield on while towing. I use an open trailer behind my Ram 1500.

If u have to remove the windshield, just leave the handlebar Clamps on and remove the 2 bolts that attach the shield to the Clamps, 2 min job... I leave the Clamps on all yr long, come fall, 2 bolts and I'm good till spring
My experience with the Polaris windshields mid and high is they are garbage. The screws back off and upon re-tightening, it splits the windshield. Usually after the warranty is over. And no I never overtightened it. Save your money and buy aftermarket
