Noticed the other day that this connector im my 03 Sportsman 500 H.O were disconnected and destroyed. Was wondering if anyone knows what these do, or somewhere I can find a schematic to figure out what they do. Also, where would I get that connector or what would I replace it with, i've never seen a 2-1 connector before. Thanks

It connects the battery to the rec/reg - one of the two red wires (#20) goes directly to the battery and 21 goes to the key switch - the wires can be re-terminated with any suitable connector, soldered or wire nutted to re-establish the connection so the battery charge can be maintained by the onboard charging system.

Okay awsome, what would you recommend for a sutible connector, or where could I find something that can work. I'm having a hard time finding anything similar.

I would solder the connection or wire nut the wires together for expediency and locate a plug in connector for convenientcy later
