So I left my battery out in the shed over winter and was wondering if I could use a smaller battery? They’re close in size but it’d be a bit loose in the battery box, haven’t put my battery on the trickle charger yet cuz I can’t find it and I’m going on a rip with some buddies soon so I was wondering if it’s be risky or not to use a smaller battery for only a day? Will it even work?

A smaller battery will not hurt - I changed from a YTX5 AGM to a YTX4 Lithium battery in my CRF as it was the recommended size. I did not need the Lithium battery in a 5 size and could save some expense by using the 4. The 4 was $168 and the 5 was $212 - the Lithium 4 had more AH than the AGM 5.
