Anyone know where I could get a clutch cover gasket for my 2001 Xpedition 325? I checked Babbitt's and a couple other websites that I know of but they say out of stock. I'll use silicone if I have to but I'd rather have the gasket. Thanks
Part was discontinued over 10 years ago - have to get lucky and find one in stock at a Polaris dealer or make one out of gasket paper available at NAPA and other automotive parts outlets.
Don't use silicone or RTV - it is not gas and oil resistant and the cover needs the .020 to .040 clearance provided by the gasket and the open oil passages that silicone can clog.
