I have a 2000 xplorer 300 & quit charging. it will run in daytime but at night with lights on, they give a good light just when accelerate, I don t know where is the rectifier to buy and put a new one, the battery is old but if I charging separately give me enough power for 2 days . I need your help and some pictures with voltage rectifier will be helpful

Since Polaris did not make a 2000 300 Xplorer, I'll presume it a 1999 300 or a 2000 250

The 99 300 ran the light directly off the battery - if the lights brighten with an increase in engine speed, it indicates the alternator has an output

Similarly, the 2000 Xplorer 4x4 250 has the same battery to light set up and on either a failed rec/reg could short out and allow AC into the charging circuit - the light s don't care if they operate AC or DC, but AC will kill a battery

Both have the rec/reg here (number 29)
