hi. i was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between the xplorer 400 trans/gearcase and the 250 trans/gearcase. i am currently helping a buddy of mine put a 2000 xplorer back together. the previous owner managed to split the casing that houses the gearing in two. we are currently able to pick up a 400 xplorer trans, but have not come across one listed as a 250 yet. any help would be greatly appreciated!

My daughter has a 2000 250cc xplorer[Shaft Drive in front].My guess is they are the same?Check on cheap cycle part.com Look at the 2 units .
