never mind your right it is in there went out did what you said , and sure enough it is there and wasent to bad to change ,i dropped the socket in and said oh no i could barley see it , but it worked out ok.
Good. The first time I chainged mine I figured out what the funny shaped wrench the give you was for. There's not enuf room on mine to get an extension and a ratchet in and I needed the wrench they provide to reach it. Even then I could only ger 1/8 turn at a time
The spark plug wrench they give works great....the first time i seen it...I'm like wth is this for....then i tried my sockets ...nope did'nt work....used thier wrench....perfect fit and hold....Polaris likes making their tools and making sure they work well...Muddie49
And can someone tell me the trick to getting the boot off without destroying it. Working on the 3rd boot so far and 50 a pop is ridiculous. The 1st I'll admit to it caught me off guard, but every time I try a little piece rips off. And of course I have those helpful friends that can do it no problem. Thats why I need boot #4, and the plug has never needed changing. But for some reason its always the first thing someone checks when they can't get it started. Never the gas shutoff valve.
I used some long nose pliers real long and got as close to the valve cover as I could and never had a problem.
