Hello. I bought a 2012 tb 330. Sat for a while and the clutch was stuck and full of mouse house. Got that freed up start the machine and it's hammering. Grabbed the clutch and it's nice and tight. You could hear it when I turned the crank by hand. I figured it was a rod noise the way it sounded. Valves were in spec. So I pulled it apart. Timing chain was nice and tight. Only thing I found is the compression release lever flopping around on the cam and the piston has some scoring on the back side. Rod bearings and crank bearings have no play what so ever. Any other places to look for a noise before I put a new top end on it? Flywheel is tight as well. There really isn't much else in the bottom end to make noise. Cylinder wall looks pretty decent for the look of the piston. Also any top end suggestions? I'll post a link to the video as well.
