Hey fellas, I have a 2002 Magnum 325 the four wheel drive has stopped working today, does anyone have any idea where the voltage regulator is for this and how would I test it?

OK Fellas, let me explain in a little more detail, I have no power at the switch
so that is makes me think it may have something to do with rectifier, I am new relatively new to the four wheeler world and just trying to save some coin and not have to take it to the shop. Any more input greatly appreciated.
okay well you have a wiring issue I would imagine. If the battery is strong then it should activate the magnets without it running. Under the front cowl you will find two plugs. One runs to each wheel to energize the magnets in the hiliard. You can meter them to see if you are getting power to the hubs. Work backwards from there. The handle bar switch is a simple on off switch. The rectifier only converts the stators output to DC volts for the battery.
You can actually put the bike up on blocks and start it, put 12v to the wheel side of those connectors and see if the front wheels turn when in gear. Does not matter which side is poss or neg.
If I remember correctly, that 02 will only activate AWD if the gear selector/tranny switch and speedo/speed sensor are working correctly and showing the right gear selection and speed. In other words, if the tranny switch is bad it may think it's still in N or R...(no AWD in N and AWD in R requires pressing the override button). A faulty speedo/sensor can also cause problems.
I'd also agree with the above suggestion of changing the hub fluid. Those hubs on the older models often get ignored and not changed regularly until there's a problem. Then it may require more than just a simple fluid change to fix.
Do a little testing with all 4's off the ground and let us know what you find. If you give us ALL the info and what you have tried we can help you find and correct the problem. Without any info we are just guessing.
