How do you know it's slipping, need more info.

 

I can see it trying to come over the pulley. Brand new belt, put it on road about 50 feet and the belt started smoking. Took it back off and it looks like it’s been on there for months

 

What the hell are we working on??????????

are you sure that the bolt securing the secondary clutch to the shaft is torqued correctly. There have been many issues of the secondary clutch bolt coming loose.
