Front uses Polaris Demand Drive or ATF.
The rear uses Polaris AGL transmission oil, or Amsoil chaincase lube.

 

What other oils can be used safely in the rear gear case, and front ?

 

ATF, JASO rated engine oil, Honda two stroke transmission oil, Hypoid 90w140 differential lube, 30w Diesel grade oil, Harley full synthetic transmission oil, Harley Sportster primary/transmission oil, Primary chaincase oil, 140w industrial gear reduction transmission oil, outboard motor lower end oil and a slew of others are all safe. You may lose AWD function with some, but all are safe and many are superior to the recommended AGL, but what do you expect to gain and at what cost?

 

I wanted to know my options. I usually buy online at 5 bucks cheaper than local shop shops. But in a pinch I needed information on what else would work.thank you latebird.
