New 500 HO

I just bought a new sportsman last week, and loved it. I don't know if I got a bad belt or what but yesterday it blew the belt on me coming up a ditch. Not a big problem but it only has 10 hours on it. We'll be going to dealer on tuesday, surely a belt should last beyond the break in period.

Just wondered if anyone else had any belt problems early on?

I bought a new 500HO in June and hav'nt had any small problems with it...MUDDIE49

I was told by an avid Polaris rider that it is important that a guy doesn't gun it the first couple min. and yards to warm the belt and clutches. So double check he says its in the owner's manual. I'm shure you have more sence than to do that.
